The grapes for this wine come from 25 Ha of vineyards divided amongst 38 parcels located in the Salnes Valley, the most northern part of the Rias Baixas very near the Atlantic ocean. The oldest vines were planted in 1966 in the pergola system, traditional for this area. The soils are very sandy and have a high acidity due to their proximity to the ocean. Yields are 4.5 T/Ha. The wine is partially barrel fermented and all of the wine rests sur lie.
