Salia is an exciting new wine from Finca Sandoval, made from 50% Syrah, 38% Garnacha Tintorera and 12% Garnacha in the DO Manchuela. It is rare to find a value wine made in such a meticulous way: harvesting by hand, fermentation in small open top vats, basket press, and aging in barrique and barrels of 1 to 3 years old. Unfortunately, only 500 cases make it to the U.S.
