100% Barbera from vines averaging 50 to 60 years in age. All estate fruit grown on very steep hillsides, soils are a mix of sand, limestone and clay. Fantastic vineyard sites for Barbera that are typically reserved for Nebbiolo which results in high quality fruit. Fermented in stainless steel, aged six months in tank before bottling. Aged four months in bottle prior to release. Production: 8,000 cases.
