Barolo Mosconi 2011 - 0.80 Ha holdings in Mosconi vineyard, most vines are 50 to 55-years-old with a small section replanted in 2005. Mosconi is located in the Monforte d’Alba commune and produces very strong wines. Soils are a poor mixture of clay and limestone with very little, if any topsoil. Fermented in stainless steel with submerged cap for 18 days, aged in Frech oak, 30% new for 24 months. Farmed organic. Production: 1,800 bottles.
