LA SPINETTA
Barbera d'Asti Superiore Bionzo 2012

14.0 Ha vineyard in Asti area, vines planted in 1942 and 1956. This is one of the Langhe’s great Barberas. A south- southwest steep exposure on sandy calcareous marl. The wine has a tremendous amount of minerality to balance the ripe red and black fruits. Fermented on the skins for seven days, aged in new wood for 18 months. Production: 28,000 bottles.
