1.7 Ha holdings in Mosconi vineyard, planted in 1955, Monforte d’Alba commune. Located above Ginestra on a seperate ridge. Soils are Helvetian formation. Mosconi is more exposed and open, slowing ripening down further and developing strong skins and tannins. Fer- mented on the skins for 20 to 30 days, aged 36 months in barrique, 80% new, then an additional 24 months in 50hl Slavonian cask. Production: 5,000 bottles.
