WINE PROFILE

MAURO MOLINO
Barbera d'Alba 2014

A delicious Barbera produced entirely in stainless steel. Loaded with ripe and lush dark red fruits all balanced with natural acidity. Molino's Barbera vineyards are in La Morra and are harvested typically between the middle to the end of September. Matteo and his father give the Barbera vines the same strict viniculture as the Nebbiolo vines, green harvest, canopy management and they will wait to harvest, will wait for the best time to get the Barbera perfectly ripe and balanced. Barbera typically isn't a complex wine, but this is a great example of how delicious it can be.
