Bright purple. Primary dark berry aromas are complemented by licorice and dark chocolate. Straightforward and a bit youthfully grapey, with sweet blackberry and cassis flavors, supple texture and a late candied floral quality. This became firmer with air but is in no way hard. Very easy to drink and a ridiculous value.
