100% Sangiovese Grosso aged 8 months in large, 500 liter tonneaux, bottled unfiltered.  This is another fantastic wine from the Mocali estate, a very lifted and floral wine that is elegant and delicious.  No new wood or too much wood to get in the way of the aromatic Sangiovese Grosso.  The light cedar, spice and cherry aromas dominate the aroma and the body is elegant with spiced cherry following.  A tremendous value as well, not aged long enough to be classified Rosso di Montalcino, but we don't care the price and quality put this wine in a class by itself.  Enjoy!
