3.5 Ha single vineyard, planted in 1960 and selected for its particular aromatic complexity and long aging potential. The vineyard is steep and cover crops are a must between rows to mitigate erosion. Soils of igneous and metamorphic rocks of granite, quartz, iron, and mineral sands from old glacial deposits. Fermented on the skins for 20 days, aged 18 months in new and old tonneaux- then another 18 months in 30 Hl cask.
