This is a benchmark Barbera for Piedmont and an incredible value. In Roero you will find Barbera planted in south facing, steep hillside vineyards, where in Barolo and Barbaresco Nebbiolo is always given these prized exposures. This combined with sandy, mineral rich soils of Roero produces extremely high quality fruit. Aged in 2nd passage wood barrique for 12 months and then for another 18 months in the cellar. Loaded with ripe and round Barbera fruit with a dark top soil like quality and season with integrated wood tones. It is delicious and one of our best selling wines from Italy.
