Light yellow. Ripe melon, pineapple and a spicy nuance on the nose. Supple and easygoing, with lively tropical fruit, tangerine and fresh herb flavors showing a refreshing bite of acidity. Displays good weight and texture and finishes on a lemony note, with good cut and length. This is one serious value.
The grapes come from Finca La Mota a 25 Ha (61.8 acres) vineyard that is 2,700 ft. in elevation with clay-limestone soils. It is oriented to the southwest, and planted in the traditional vaso and cabeza systems. Yield: 51 Hl/Ha (545 gal/acre). Harvested at the beginning of September.
