Juicy and expressive in this vintage, the Val dei Preti is an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. I wouldn't wait too long, as the mid-weight structure suggests the 2012 is best suited to medium-term drinking, but all the elements are very nicely balanced just the same.
