0.85 Ha holdings in Cannubi vineyard, 55 year old vines, Barolo. Cannubi is considered by many to be the greatest vineyard in Barolo. It’s a ridge that runs southwest to northeast, the steep vineyards are orientated south and southeast. The soils are Tortonian, the top soil is very thin and poor but overall Cannubi is known for elegance over power. Chiara’s holdings are almost in the exact center of the cru and have a small southwest inclination making it particularly special. Production: 1,200 bottles.
