This wine offers fuller body, aromas and flavor than typical Barberas.  This can be attributed to the terrior of the Bricco Boschis, where Cavallotto's comparatively small quantity of Barbera vines grow alongside the Nebbiolo grapes that produce some this winery's most intense Barolos. This Barbera is released a year later than its counterparts, resulting in a wine that's sinewy and fleshy, possessing the weight, purity and balance of a wine twice its size.
