The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard that was planted in
1960 called La Nava. The soils are composed of clay and a good
amount of chalk.
Avante was stainless-steel fermented and underwent malolactic
fermentation in barrel. It was aged in 40% American and 60% French
Oak barrels for 22 months before being bottled unfiltered.
