The hillside vineyard called Vigna gli Angeli, 270-320 meters in elevation, is 100% Sangiovese Grosso, with the average of 30 year old vines.  Handpicked, loose pressing with 15 day maceration.  Aged four years in 50-100hl Slavonian Oak casks, then 12 months in bottle prior to release.
