This Refosco is from the Bottaz vineyard. There are two clones of Refosco planted in this vineyard; Peduncolo Rosso and Faedis. These two clones together create a wine of great complexity. Refosco grape bunches are very long, so the lower half of the bunch must be hand cut to prevent the bunch breaking off due to the weight. The wine is fermented with natural yeast and aged in large Slavonian and French Oak casks.
