Produced from estate fruit, 85% Montepulciano, 15% Merlot. The Montepulciano fruit is from a site that has higher phenolic ripening and more sugar development. The Merlot is planted to a site more west that promotes longer hang time with full maturity and moderate sugar development, which is then dried 12 days on the vines. Maceration lasts 20 days in stainless steel then aged 12 months in 15-hectoliter casks. Production: 1,900 cases.
