1.5 Ha holdings in Gallinotto vineyard, 45 year old vines, La Morra. While La Morra’s eastern exposures are the location of the commune’s most famous vineyards, Gallinotto has caused a lot of discussion on the quality of the westside. Tortonian soil that has more top soil and is slightly richer in organic matter. The wine is more full of fruit and more supple than the rest of La Morra. Aged 24 months in French barrique, 30% new. Production: 5,000 bottles.
