Love the floral character to this on the nose with rose petals. Plenty of dried fruit as well. Shows strength complemented by balance. Drink in 2020.
0.38 Ha holdings in Conca vineyard, 60 year old vines, La Morra. In the lower La Morra bowl in Annunziata. A very protected, warmer and sheltered site in the shape of an amphitheater with richer Tortonian. A very rich and supple Barolo with an extreme amount of flesh,possibly due to higher heat accumulation. Production: 1,000 bottles.
Maceration on the skins for 6 days, alcoholic fermentatin in steel vats with temperature control for 20 days, malo-lactic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques (45% new)
