Lenotti Valpolicella Classico is produced in the classic area of Valpolicella - the hills of the villages of Negrar, Valgatara, and Fumane. The vineyards are grown in calcareous and chalky soils mixed with gravel deposited from glaciers from the last Ice Age. It has a wonderful darker fruit note and concentration. It's a great example of a wine that is light on the palate, but has considerable concentration, aromatics and intensity. Only the traditional varieties of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara are used to make this wine.
