Lenotti Bardolino is produced from vineyards on the eastern shores for Lake Garda, in the villages of Bardolino and Garda.  It's a blend of the local varieties Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grown in Moranic soils deposited by glaciers during the last Ice Age.  The vines are trained high off the ground by a Pergola system that help avoid mildew and rot during the late spring and summer.  This wine has a beautiful nose of red flowers and bright fruit.  Aged exclusively in stainless steel, it's a classic example of this delicious pizza wine.
