Campogrande Bianco delle Cinqueterre comes from a very particular area of Liguria that had been mostly abandoned in the 1960's. The steep land is terraced as it drops towards the Mediterranean Sea and can only be harvested manually in small batches. The Bosco and Albarola grapes are macerated on the skins and fermented in stainless steel and then allowed to go through malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine is very unique, full of salty notes and key lime. It has firm texture and acidity.
